Explorer 39mm w/ Rhodium face......does it exist?

Hi,

First Post...I've been reading for a while. This is a great resource.

I've been wearing the same SS & WG DateJust w/ grey tapestry face since '89, and I'm looking to pull the trigger on a second Rolex. Here's what I'm looking for (but can't find)

Explorer I, 39mm.....with a Rhodium face. I cant seem to find any info on getting this option. If it does not exist, will rolex make me a Rhodium dial for the Explorer 39mm, as an after market option?

Looking forward to replies.

Thank you

You can get the 36mm Oyster Perpetual with a silver dial, which is very similar to the EXP. It's not available in a 39mm variant though.

No, only one dial option for the Explorer, and that's the black 3-6-9 dial. It's been like that for a very long time. The only models in the gents range that offer Rhodium dials are the 36mm Datejust in steel, the 36mm Day-Date in WG/Plat, the 41mm Datejust II in steel, and the 41mm Day-Date II in WG/Plat
