Chronomat (Forgot I had it!)

Just came across this Breitling, in the back of the safe, which I haven't seen in years! I recall that I purchased it new (on a whim) around 1994/1995, while in Canada.

Fast forward to today, when again, I came across it in the safe. My wife spotted it, and now wants to wear it, so I wound it up, set it, and on her wrist it sits!

Any information about this would be greatly appreciated.

What's the story with the crown looking to be steel, while the pushers look to be gold?

Where would I look for a Breitling replacement leather strap, and what should I look to pay?

Finally, what would have been the time appropriate bracelet for this watch, and again, where would I look to purchase one, and what would I expect to pay.

Many thanks,

Nathan

(pics are with the watch on my wrist, the back of the watch showing the Model #, and now (forever??) on my wife's)

A Chronomat from the early '90s.....at the time, one of the hottest and most popular watches out. Had one myself and just sold it recently. I wore that watch everyday for probably 10 years. Nice find!!!!!!

Either the Pilot bracelet or the bullet bracelet (not offered by Breitling anymore)

That was a two-tone model but not necessarily gold.........some models had gold plated pushers and markers.........same as I had.

According to the model no. it is a chronomat vitesse.
The model number explained: (someone correct me if I'm wrong here)
B - Stainless steel w/ 18k rider tabs, pushers & crown.
13 - Caliber no. 13 is based on the Valjoux 7750
0 - non-COSC
50 - model ref. number
I've never seen the crown in steel with gold pushers.
