FS in the UK: My lovely Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 6239
Offering for sale a lovely rare early Rolex Cosmograph Daytona manual wind bracelet watch, ref. 6239 case no. 1463*** dating from the mid-1960's.
The case is in very good, lightly patinated condition, with the third generation stainless steel bezel, pumper chronograph pushers and Twinlock screw down winding crown. Domed acrylic crystal. Model and serial numbers very clear between the shoulders and on the inside of the case back. The back of the shoulders have lightly etched jeweller's stock code numbers. The black dial is very fine (lume dots are all present!), with nicely matched hands. The Rolex calibre 72B seventeen jewel manual wind mechanism is running strongly, the chronograph is fully functioning and zeroes crisply. The watch is fitted to a nice and tight spring-link Rolex Oyster bracelet. Here are the pictures! (The marks are dust on the crystal ) Originally owned by a medical doctor from Manchester (north west England). The watch is supplied with the Rolex "coffin" presentation case and outer cardboard box, instruction leaflet, and open guarantee booklet. The watch is priced at GBP £21,500 (approx. US35k / 24,500 Euros). Ten day no-quibble refund period. Thank you for watch-ing! Mike Wood (UK) Tel. +44 (0)1704 549 733 (UK wakey-wakey hours) |
