rolex crown laser etching on daytona

I just assumed that a Daytona 16520 "A" or "P" series would have the rolex crown laser etching on the crystal. If Rolex started to use laser etching in 2000, then none of the Zenith movement watches would have this crystal. Can someone confirm this. I guess there might be a few 16520 "P" series that have a laser etching crystal. My "A" doesnt.
