"B" is for BLING!!!
USPS kindly delivered my first Breitling today. Superocean II Abyss with blue ring on Pro II bracelet. Apparently, I don't have the correct size screwdriver to adjust this bracelet so it will have to keep resting on it's pillow for now. It looks fabulous in person! I will post much better pics once it is ready for action! (Stickers and protectors staying on for now in case I have to take it somewhere to get it sized).

Excellent pickup Blaine, congrats! Looking forward to seeing more pics. Obviously this design has stirred a lot of controversy since its introduction, but after trying one on at my AD and seeing it on my wrist from a normal perspective, I'm a believer.

Congrats on the SO II!
My first Breitling came in a few weeks ago. It's the Superocean II Abyss Yellow on a rubber strap with tang buckle.
I am really enjoying it and I am sure you will , too. Have the bracelet sized at a Breitling AD or other watch place with a skilled jeweler, you don't want it botched! I feel vindicated by the Breitling debuts at Basel that are a spinoff of this model. It shows that it must be desireable in the marketplace. I think the design is modern and it "pops" in person. I urge all Breitling fans to try one on. If the current 42mm size is too small for you (I like it), the next version comes in a 44mm size. |

I just saw them last week for the first time in my local AD, they are sharp and a great summer water watch. I have it in the back of my head, I just might have to buy one.

Thanks for all the kind words! Before my wife and I went to dinner tonight, we stopped by an AD to have the Breitling sized properly. Here are a few shots I took this evening/tonight. I'm really liking this watch!
Before ordering at dinner.
Pizza was delicious! Then more pics after we got back home. |

Picked up a new SuperOcean II Black Abyss yesterday. Went ahead and purchased the Pro II bracelet and the Breitling rubber strap with the tang buckle. Well-made piece.
