As a reputable Watch Collector and Restorer told me a number of years ago,
"You Buy the Seller, NOT the Watch"
My fault I did not keep that bit of advice in a recent transaction.

I think the .net would have given it away for me.
Can you remedy the situation with them? ie. refund and/or return policy

You can trust buying from him.
Just make sure you ask all your questions and do your DD
on the watch you are interested in.
