I know you're mostly kidding, but, though I suspect my new Sub C will steal my wrist for a while, the 24 is actually a really nice watch, its 7750 is remarkably well adjusted, robust, the watch honestly keeps incredible time. Great Lume, very inspiring and attractive design, it's not quite what the Sub C is, but with the sub now at 8k, it's also $1200 less. When I first saw a Panerai years ago I did initially wonder if it was a fad, I no longer believe that's the case. Our wrists have room for lots of brands, though you'd look silly if it was at the same time. :)
