Tried to get a Rolex catalogue

I called Rolex USA three times over the past two months requesting a new catalogue with prices. Each time they "yessed" me and said that they would send it out. Never sent it. One agent suggested that I call NY for faster service.

I called Rolex NY today and requested one and they said that it would be mailed today. However, when I asked for the larger complete catalogue with price list, they said that Rolex never sends these out and I would receive only the small abridged one.

Perhaps Rolex needs to have a price increase so that they can afford to send a catalogue.

I asked Rolex Geneva for an owner's manual in French or English for my Explorer II which I bought in Spain, sending them a copy of the warranty card, etc and no reply. Nada. Not impressed.

I usually just ask for the catalogue at an AD. They usually have copies of it but of course, it's not the big one with the prices and all.

My AD in Canada, supplied a full size 2009 catalogue & Canadian price list when I purchased my watch in Sep. of last year. When The 2010 /11 catalogue & price list came out a number of months later I requested one of them & they sent out two so that I could also give one to a friend.

Hum, never would have thought to call Rolex for a catalog... Why not just get one from your AD... you can print the new price list right here on TRF

In this day and age, they should have everything available in .pdf format so it can be emailed to customers or downloaded online. No reason not to embrace technology.

I just ask the ad for it, and they give it complete with price list. No questions. :)

I've tried 2 ADs with no joy. I have Rolexes and am clearly interested in another, but they either don't have catalogs to give or don't care.
