Tudor Chrono for a woman?

Lisa: I bought a Tudor Tiger cronograph two years ago with a black face and a crome dial . I am told that the crome dial is more valuable. The Tiger version is more rare. I replaced the original sharkskin band with a new one (about $200). Be sure that the watch comes with the steel parts that fit the band. I prefer the sharkskin band. I have enough metal bands. I think these watches look great on women.

Hi. I like the sharkskin band, too - but wonder if it could be adjusted small enough to fit my wrist. I might have to cut some of it off - or probably better, find another strap. That's sort of why I'm looking for a jubilee bracelet - comfort, fit and "adjustability."

79260P, black tacky bezel. 79270P, rotating 12 hour bezel. 79280P, metal engraved bezel. The last two numbers [of this series] are the same bezel designation as on previous references.

How do the 7920p and 79270p compare on the wrist? Are they exactly the same thickness, or does the rotating bezel add some height? (miniscule as that might be!)

Never owned a 79260 but doubt there would be any difference in height. The real difference is the multiple uses of the rotating bezel [second timezone, simple timer, etc]. Not to mention the classic Rolex bezel edge that just oozes coolness, imho.

In earlier posts there was discussion about endlinks that would be used with the leather strap. So, if I found a 7260P on a jubilee bracelet but later wanted to use an aftermarket leather strap, would I be in trouble because I wouldn't have the needed endlinks?

79260P end links are just for aesthetic purposes, I mean you can install a strap also without them, they are used to cover the gap between the case and the strap.

I had a pair that I sold because I definitely prefer those Tudor chronos on their stainless steel bracelet.

Thanks for the clarification, Engi. I do want a Tudor Jubilee with this watch - but ideally would also like the leather strap/endlinks for variety.

Okay, one more question about the 792xxP - either the 70 or 60. If I get a leather strap/endlinks - how do they attach to the case? Does it require two sets of springbars? Or do the endlinks somehow fit over the springbar shared with the leather strap?
