Hey Guys,

Well, sold or not sold, I think that it was a fair price for very beautiful watch.
Just keep on looking, it will pop some other good deal, and I think that Air King is great choice! Welcome to TRF!

Air king is a beautiful watch. My first nice watch (and my first Rolex) was an Air King. It's the only watch that has depreciated (rather significantly, purchased new in 1999) but I wouldn't part with it even if I could get double what it sells for in the secondhand market today.

Welcome to TRF!
I was looking an comparables just today on a 14000M. Based on my market research that watch is just a gosh high based on it doesn't have box or papers. It certainly wasn't over priced. I believe $2,200 to $2,300 for a really clean F - D series with box and papers are available. I just picked up a nice DJ that will be here tomorrow. It is probably going to be a replacement for my girlfriend's 14000M F Series black dial. It may be on the boards in the next week or so.

Bernard is an excellent company. Exactly as represented, no-hassle return if it doesn't fit.
Fast, courteous attention to your emailed queries. About once or twice a month I check out a hundred or so watches on their site. Maybe 20% more than a private seller, but with the guarantee, better condition, and easy return? Worth it. |
