Submariner Sertified..!

ive not shown you guys any pics yet of my recently serti "fied" submariner. originally a 16613LN, now a 16613 Serti...

the diamonds were sparkling at me, so i had to grab a few quick photos during a shoot yesterday.. i think ive managed to capture it pretty well, this watch is not very photogenic, pics never do this black/gold combo any justice.. i hope i have managed to capture the pale tones in some pics that i so admire.. this is my daily beater and only Rolex..

i hope you enjoy.. and please feel free to post pics of your Sertified Sub..!

...and not forgt the car.. a lovely and rare 944 turbo cab, only 100 made in rhd, only 43 came to the UK, dont know how many guards red with black leather, but its probably only one of a handful that still exist...

thanks for looking..!

I Love TT. The contrast is beautiful ,especially around a black bezel. The diamond trulty show off your dial ( even though a champaign dial is not my preference.) Congrats on a beautiful watch.

Great pictures, but you're right...the TT sub serti blows you away when you see it in person. Awesome watch.

Beautiful watch!
And that 944 cabriolet is really something you don`t see every day!
There are two of them that I know here in Belgrade, but only one in decent condition, and both left hand drive.
Closest to it that I drove was 924 S coupe with 2.5 liter engine and 150 hp, and I must say that I liked it very much, handling was really nice!

cheers guys, thanks for your comments. i have a question or two..

i note that the dial is made from a disc of 18k gold.
what material is the silver serti dial made from? steel?

i noted on receipt of this dial how heavy it was and also how deep it was. the black dial that came out the watch was much lighter and half as thin.

i did not weigh it, but it must be a around 15g due to the gold content..

surely, this must make it far better value than the slate silver version if that is made of steel??

cheers

Too funny...your steering wheel is on the wrong side....does that mean you wear your watch on the wrong wrist?

Lol.. I drive on the left side of the road here in the UK. It is the arrangement I have with everyone else over here.

Did you know we drive on the left because that is the side of the horse the guy dismounted from whom made the rules. Bizarre.

Love the look of your Serti 16613 !! I also have a 16613 Blue which I am considering converting to the Champagne or Slate Serti. IMO it is one of the better looking Rolex diamond pieces that doesn't broadcast excessive bling. Did you have an AD do your conversion or did you purchase the Serti and have someone else do it? Also, at what cost (converted to U.S. $, please if possible)?

Concerning your 944 Porsche, I ordered a brand new one from the local Porsche dealer when it was available (it was the first one in the city I lived in at the time) in a metallic cinnamon color. As far as I can remember, there was no convertible available so you definately have a rare one.
