Holiday's with the DSSD.....safe & sound in Gorgeous Greece

just back home from a 2 week break in Greece, had a great time (as usual) & met up with loads of good friends we hadn't seen since last year.........my DSSD by my side all the time, even managed to spot a couple in the wild too

Cretian sunrise was worth getting out of bed for

took a Quad bike over the mountains & found a stunning private beach, all secluded with no others to share

met a couple of AD's, one fantastic, the other not so.....over a chat i managed to come home with some goodies....plus he even through in some marble display stands, C-clips & a suede travel pouch

and then on the way home, having already spotted a Daytona on the way out i snagged something special in front of me in checkout

is it safe to wear your watch on holiday, sure is

an AD with an elusive Green Hulk in the window.....couldn't reach a deal on it due to the seriously over the top price of €6800, claimed it was already discounted from the Rolex rrp of €7495

Oh yeah great snaps man!! let's see some more DSSD action!

I wonder if anyone in Greece actually buys expensive stuff or if it's just the tourists?

6800 is what i was offered as well more than a month ago and no discount.
i guess it is the price as the demand is huge.

Dear Chad,

It seems that you have been to SPINALONGA, the place where the story of Victoria Hislop's book "The island" takes place. Is that correct ?

100% right...didn't do Spinalonga this time though, been twice before in past 4 years....took that shot high up on the road to Vrouhas / Selles and a great place to take a few shots below...and once across the other side a great place for a dip

You can easily get a 20-25% discount on rrp in Athenian ADs.

I just returned from Greece myself 2 days ago. Hopefully ill be back within a month for the rest of the summer. Here is my son Stavros pulling us into the marina in Sivota, Greece after a short trip to Anti Paxos for a swim. For those that have never been this is the best time of the year to enjoy Greece. As for Rolex's go AD's will discount cash sales.
