New and off on a great adventure!
Never thought I would own a Rolex, but my wife encouraged me to purchase the Sub LV Green Dial after the Jewelry store owner brought it out of the vault to let me check it out a few weeks ago. The piece just arrived earlier that day for a Swiss Watch event that was coming up. I had my eye on a Tag Aquaracer Calibre 5 at the time, but the Tag did not stand to compare. My wife convinced me that I deserved the Sub, for all my hard work, and the manager explained the exclusivity of this Green Dial LV. I went for it!
I absolutely love this Sub LV! The green dial is such an amazing, rich, and unique color as a result of the gold dust coloring technique. Online photos don't seem to capture this fully. I did end up purchasing the Tag too; allowing me to reserve the Sub for special occasions, but I seem to be encouraged to find more "special occasions" as an excuse to sport the Sub.  Have my eye on a Rolex Day Date for my wife, with the mother of Pearl Dial/Diamond Bezel ...but going to have to wait a little while for that one. I have perused this site for a while lately, and finally decided to join. Looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm for Rolex as my collection grows over the years.
