Wanna buy, but aware, real or fake?
Want to buy this one, but for me it looks too simplified. No crown on clock winder, no text on back cover... Only one hope - Circa - Early 2000's Production. So who can help is that real or not?

First of all, this looks like a stock photo. Do you have a pic of the actual watch?
No Rolex crown on the winder is definitely a big red flag. That doesnt mean the watch is fake, it just means that the winder was replaced. The text in the dial is a new feature, any older Rolex will not have it. The back of the case should not have any text either. If you can get a clean shot of the dial of the actual watch, people can help you determine if its real or not. |

The crown should have a "crown" on it... Not sure why it wouldnt. As often times said here on TRF, buy the seller and NOT the watch. With ANY questions I would just walk away

Not sure I see the point of this thread....
Even with my poor and ageing eyesight, I can see that the crown has the coronet on it.. As to the other items, Rolex watches don't have them from the era of the Datejust shown.. As said, it's a stock photo of an older model and nothing can be inferred from it......

OP was just using the stock photo to give us a better understanding of his concerns I guess. A rolex with no crown on the winder? I would walk away. God knows what else was replaced with that watch.

Big thanx to all who answered. As i see there is only one problem - no crown on the clock winder. I will ask the seller about the reason of it.
