Congrats sir! My first Rolex was a 16800 Submariner. I absolutely LOVED it, and it was close to production in my birth-year. However, I jumped at the chanced to "upgrade" into a modern Sea-Dweller.

Go with a Submariner. You will be addicted to Rolex going forward. ;)
