Rolex retailer suggestion in NYC....

Good evening all,
I am hoping you guys can help me, I am wanting to pick up a simple ladies Rolex for my wife's birthday on Monday and I need suggestions on an AD in NYC. I really do not want to give my money to Tourneau or Wempe...why? friends have had bad experiences there even thought they still made the purchase since they had no guidance.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

LouisR
I have only 1 Rolex (but I think it's to die for) ceramic bezel sub.

I live here and I can tell you that the forum members on here have much better prices and availability of watches. The new Tourneau store on 53rd is nice, they have some pre-owned watches, but again, I prefer looking in these stores, never buying. It's a shame that there are not more stores that stock Rolex in NYC.

Avoid Tourneau like the plague!!! SUPER high prices. Good selection generally, but again, VERY high prices. Go up to the diamond district and see what you can do.

Try William Barthman. They always have a huge selection and you can get 15% off on non-sports Rolex models.

Lee Perla in Hackensack NJ, you could save the tax by ship it back to NY.

It's true, they are the nicest people to deal with; very friendly staff there, and very relaxed atmosphere (compared to Tourneau)

Boris Katz ( Sale2day). He is a member of TRF. I bought my Daytona BNIB from him. Very solid guy!
Not sure if he still in NYC or NJ.

Disagree. Tourneau will discount. Be very careful of diamond district. Many good dealers but many questionable. They do a lot of franken watches. You have to really know your Rolex to spot these.
