Thanks guys, it has been tough. I do feel silly as they are just dogs but we are so attached and my son will be devastated

So sorry to hear this, especially with such young dogs...You will be in our thoughts!
I rescue dogs and currently have 9. We love them all and we try to find homes for them. Most of the dogs that I have are owner give ups. Either owners don't want them or a few had elderly owners who died. It is easy to get attached and I consider all of them a part of the family!!
