Does a new sub come with the anchor?

I just bought my new SS Sub Date, and the AD explained to me that the anchors have been gone for some time. He also showed me where my watch was his first w/o a hologram (exactly as illustrated above), the last Sub he sold the previous week had one. Also, the hang tags were slightly different, with light/dark green strings and altered hologram, and the interior of the box is now a very light shade of green instead of ivory.
