Hacking system
Hi, I have a Rolex Air King from around 1990. I believe this is supposed to have the Hacking System applied, when you unscrew the crown then pull out the second (sweeping hand should stop) my one does only sometimes or only when i move the hands back?
Is this ok or does it need a service or do I have a big problem? Thank you all, and support would be appreciated. Terryhttp://www.rolexforums.com/images/smilies/cheers.gif |

It's not a big problem.. There is a little part that needs to disengage to hack the seconds hand.. if it is dry, it sticks and the hand does not hack..
If it has not been cleaned and oiled in the past 20 years, then it will likely work just fine after a service...
