love at first sight: nato

was going to sell the dssd but decided to try some straps as I have loved changing straps on my iwc and panerai in the past. Wow I'm in love!

Definitely a keeper now! some quick dirty iPhone pics

Amen, summer time is NATO time! I just switched my SD bracelet out for a bond nato yesterday. It feels fantastic. Nice and light, fresh look, no concerns about scratching the clasp!

You won't regret it my friend, it's like having two watches. Plus, for us young guys it gives a very cool look IMO. It's a good way to get a tough/rugged look while still appreciating the finer things.

Looks very sharp.
Have you looked @ the Isofrane rubber strap? That would look good on the DSSD.

I throughly enjoy wearing various Nato Straps with my 1680. Eventually I will probably give it a shot with my GMTII as it has lug holes and this makes it even easier to gofrom bracelet to Nato. Its very simple to change the straps and have various different looks. Very comfortable too.

Wow!! Really great variation. It changes the look of the watch.

However I am rather concerned about scratching the lugs during strap changing.

Do you guys put a piece of tape over the lugs before changing straps?
