Between the two, my vote was the GMTc... But this is just for ceramics. On the older ones, I'd take a sub.

I couldn't decide either, so got the subc first then the gmt IIc later. Can't go wrong with either

I have both, it took a little time but the GMT IIc is for sure for me my favorite now. The poor sub sits in the winder. Plus the GMT has more functions that I like. I am a commercial pilot, and don't dive to 900 ft. I do wear the GMT surfing with no problem.
Kind regards, DK |

Having owned both, I pick pick the Sub for the clasp and dial. I was never a real big fan of the green 24 hour hand and green lettering on the dial. Also, I'd prefer the blue lume against the green lume.

As you can see I have both but the GMT is my favorite and gets the most wrist time.

should decide it yourself, what is the point listening to others' opinion?
both are great watches choose one based on which you like more. i chose the subc since for me it looks more "timeless" than the gmt with its busy bezel but i guess i'd be just as happy had i picked up the gmt.

Flipped the GMTIIc for a Sub C LN and couldn't be happier!
GMT is a great piece though!

Interesting how close this poll is. There was a time when the Sub would have had the clear advantage.
