Explorer II

Was at my AD today. They had a white dial Explorer II. Should have asked what kind of deal I could get. Anyone going to try to get a deal before the new ones come out?

Doug

No, and if they have any left, they are not giving deals, as they are now no longer available from Rolex. But here on TRF, there are some good deals to be had from trusted sellers if you still want to snag one before the new Maxi Case versions are released (my AD this week just told me they are expecting early December shipments)

Nope

I actually like the vintage or newer one coming out better than the existing EXPII.

My AD had one in their display case, and was told another one or two in the back.
I enquired about pricing, and was given 10% off the MSRP.
I do have a relationship with this AD, don't know whether it made a difference or not on the discount offered. I was also told that the new Explorer II will be made available at year end. I also prefer the current white dialed model, the new maxi case I can do without.

I know an AD that has both a black dial and a white dial EXP2 remaining in stock.
They are willing to discount 20% to $4980 from the MSRP of $6225.
If I remember correctly, one is a F serial #, the other is a D serial #.
Send me a PM if you are interested.

The new one looks nicer than the Exp II.
