Yes, it is too high and top-heavy, but it is also an engineering marvel and beautiful. The sum of it, I think, it makes a terrible one watch solution but if you own a number of watches in your collection if it fun to wear on rotation.

I love my DSSD - and never take it off. I have five other watches, but rarely wear any of them. I have no problem with the size, it fits perfectly on my wrist. It is not even that big of a watch at 43mm. The height is a non-issue for me as well, as I rarely wear 'sleeves down', and even then, not a big deal. I would be disappointed if the DSSD was redesigned with a thinner case (not that it's possible given the depth rating). The bezel is supremely designed and transitions to the domed crystal beautifully. The crown is a joy to operate. I wouldn't change a thing about the DSSD.

I love all of the Rolex sport models, but the DSSD is clearly the most awesome piece of engineering - it is the grand commander of all dive watches. Second place goes to the Yachtmaster II, and I'll get one of those when they come out in Stainlees Steel.

ingoodtime - I don't get what you are saying.

Btw, I love my Deepsea! There's nothing like it out there.
