Hummer 3 ?

Been looking and doing research to buy a Vehicle when return to USA. Have been comparing Toyota FJ Cruiser and Jeep Rubicon. Now the Hummer 3 is coming in to play. Seems like a pretty rugged vehicle. ANyone have one or taken one out on a test drive?

The other vehicle I like, but it is a little more expensive is the Infinity FX45.

Chad,

I have driven a couple of H3's. I liked them but the H2 is the way to go for me.....The H3's are pretty rugged. Just make sure you check out one with the adventure package. It sits a little higher and comes with bigger/wider tires!!

Just think of the running costs in a couple of years when petrol is $20.00 a gallon.

Chad, if its diesel, I'd go for it, but since I believe it runs on gasoline I wouldn't think of it.

The H3 has a 3.7 liter that is supposed to get 20mpg

The H2 has a 6.0 V8. Mine got about 11mpg around town and 13-14 highway

I'm a big vehicle fanatic! I owned an H2, and simply hated it! I only owned it for 5 months before I got rid of it! (TALK ABOUT A LOSS!) Before that I had an F-250. I presently drive a F-150. If I were looking at something rugged, I would probably go with the FJ! It has alot of aftermarket support and is really sharp looking. I'm a truck guy and the H2 did nothing for me, except for that buying moment high you get when you get something new! This is just my $.02

The H2 is not an option as I think the gas milage is way too low. But it is a great looking vehicle.

Actually interested in the new H3 Alpha they just introduced, that has the V-8.

Robb, that H2T photo you have, that is one sharp looking rugged SUV!!! Just wish it had better Gas milage.

Chad,

I have not seen the alpha H3 yet. I was wondering when they were going to come out with a V8 for it. Nice!!!!

It is a 2008 model, on the official Hummer Web page! Very nice. They are also coming out with a Truck Version of the H3.

Here is a link to a Hummer Fan site with info on the Alpha H3:

Why not go for the "Tudor" version of the H3, a Trailblazer/Envoy? :) (H2 is a Tahoe.)

That way you can get another watch...
