Service question

My Explorer II has begun to lose time (aprox 1 hr pr/day) the watch was purchased new in 08/2007 from an authorized Rolex dealer (Bartikowsky Jewelers Wilkes Barre PA), I contacted Rolex in NY about service, they quoted between $600.00 and $1,000. and returned with a 2 year guarente, Bartakowsky's (authorizes service center) quited $465. and a one year guarentee. This is the first time the watch is requiring service, and I am wondering what the difference might be. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

LJS

Bartikowsky or any Authorised Dealer will usually be quicker and cheaper. One year should suffice IMO. Its up to at the end of the day.

Go with an authorized dealer if you can afford it.

Go with Rikki.

I have yet to hear anything negative about his work.
