Hi Guys.....new here

Whouda thunkit......a forum for Rolex?

Just signed up....bought myself a used one a couple days ago in mint like new condition........absolute cherry with nary a scratch......

Met the guy at a Rolex Dealer to verify and make me feel better......he brought all docs, and we made the deal.

Model 16233 Jubilee band blue dial. 04 model.

Very very happy. I gave my 30 year old ss rolex to my son for graduation......and this is my new one...I am a happy camper

Welcome to the forum Ray! Glad to have you aboard!

Its great how you were able to give your SS DJ to your son as a graduation gift. Im sure he is very grateful and is enjoying it just as much as you are enjoying your new TT.

Do you happen to have any pictures of the watch that you would to share?

Enjoy your stay here on TRF!

Wiow!

Thanks for the welcome. Busy place this forum. I will post some pics just dont have any yet...it has the jubilee band.

I hope my price was OK...paid 3100. The original owner paid 4715 with shipping and insurance....provided all docs even the original cashiers check to jewelers.....I still wanted to take it to a certified dealer for final authentication. He rated it in new excellent condition.

I rode my motorcycle today and twice had to correct as I was admiring the sun gleam on it...... :)

Ray from KingwoodKorner.com

that reminds me of a story (thread) JJ once made about him waiting for the Red Light at a road crossing, and while waiting he just sat there in his car staring at his TT Blue Sub (some of the other members might remember the story I talk about here??).

I wouldn't be surprised at ALL, if CNN brought the news one day that "82 of all traffic accidents are caused by WIS Rolex owners not CONCENTRATING on the traffic whilst staring at their Rolex dials" and not even being able to say what bl**dy TIME it is if you asked them while gazing at the Rolex!

I wear no jewelry, and a watch is my only luxury.....

I spend enough on motorcycles, boats, and my woodworking... ;)
