All mine

I am new to the forum.Hello to all.Recently acquired online for under $5400. 1985 Gmt 16753, root beer with jubilee. It a beautiful work of art and...engineering. This vintage rolex is a keeper.Unless one of you experts discover the flaws or maybe even tell me is a fake. Did I over paid? Was I taken for a ride?. I really don't have an idea. At the end, my son will keep it in the family as a remembrance of my good taste or naiveness! Any coments are more than welcome. Saludos TRF!

Thanks mtasquared and brkanad. I really love this watch. It reminds me of the times when men look at you in the eye, shake your hand and kept their words. Yes , I know, I am an old fashioned romantic. Thanks again!

Mr. H.Cubano de familia asturiana. We used to live in Spain from 1969 to approximately 1973. My father gave me a Citizen watch at 9 y/o and a Omega seamaster at 11y/0. That Omega was bought in Ceuta. I wonder if the Omega was ever genuine, but never gave me trouble while swimming. Got loss like everything else in a childs hand. Saludos

My very first Rolex was a 1973-ish rootbeer. Still a favorite.

By the thickness of the lugs, perfect brushed finished and the chamfers. Also the shape and thickness of the crown guards is immaculate. I am also of Cuban descent with family from Tenerife and Santander.

Saludos,

Mr. H
