Hello, need some help on this one... Is it common with this kind of colour...?

Brown inserts are out there, and some folks pay a premium for it. Not common as most
folks changed out the inserts when they become faded......foolishly, IMHO.

Close inspection is needed for these however, to discern if the color is from sun exposure or
done chemically. People have been known to bleach them to get that "Vintage" brown look.

Cheers!

Most faded bezels are a blueish grey colour, reddish brown is unusual.I think you are wise to question this.

Nothing wrong with the brownish color, it is just called a "tropical" insert I think? I'm sure the experts will eventually chime in, but I believe it was a paint defect that collectors seem to really go nuts over. You'll also see it on dials of vintage pieces and it makes them more desirable to some. If you do a search for "tropical" I am sure you'll find a lot of brownish dials/inserts/etc. Beautiful watch, btw!!

The bezel is almost maroon on my tablet & does it look like its had a re-lume?
Ridiculously cheap at circa £4.5k

I'm not an expert but I believe that the insert can be changed for a nominal cost if you decide to change it later. If you think that the price of the watch is fair and it checks out, then why not?
