Need Rolex Advice
I am new to this forum and am trying to absorb as much information as I can to make a good decision on making a Rolex purchase. I am lucky enough to be the fiance of a man who's buying me a Rolex! He currently has his own which I believe is a submariner? It's dial is blue and has a fluted gold bezel and two toned oyster band.
I am looking for a Date Just preferably 31mm but smaller I think is fine... the Oyster band, fluted bezel or domed bezel, mother of pearl dial, white, black, or gold dial, and ideally two toned stainless steel and yellow gold or all stainless steel. I'm not too picky about the numbers but I feel my understanding of all things Rolex is pretty slim and I need some help making sure I sound like I at least know what I'm talking about! It's seems so difficult to find a place I can trust and give this money to unless it is an authorized Rolex dealer.. Which I do not want need the newest model nor do I like the newest models price :-P Any advice on where I can learn more so that I can make a better informed decision would be great! Or advice on good places/people to buy from would be greatly appreciated :) |
