SeaDweller Back from RSC!
Just got my SD back from the RSC because she was running +20 sec a day. The turnaround was only two weeks!!! I was prepared for 15 weeks. Better yet, it was on the last week of its warrantee and Rolex did it all for free.

I think when you send it in for warrantee regulation, they only regulate it, so it should be pretty quick. Need to send in my wife's date just. Glad to hear it went so quickly.

I have a similar story with my M serial 16600 SD. It had been running really fast, so I sent it to the Dallas RSC. It was an Aug 2008 purchase and out of warranty. Nevertheless, they called to let me know they would sort out the movement service/regulation at no charge and also get me a new set of springbars I needed. That's customer service!

My AD's watchmaker, a graduate of Lititz Watch Technicum can regulate my watch here locally in a couple of days.
He's just written a book called Electrical Test Values for Quartz Watches. I know that there isn't a lot of interest in quartz watches here, but even mechanical watchmakers have to live with quartz technology and do repairs. It's all just gibberish to me, but I bought one because he's been good to me and his work has always been first class.

Fact regulation and re-pressure check takes around 30 minutes tops, and St James RSC London will regulate while you wait.Regulation is the most tasks that any watchmakers does daily.
