Icon17 Mixed Eye Candy (Pictures Inside!)

Last week, I attended the most incredible watch event . 11 watch houses exhibited their most exclusive models, along with some novelties and more common ones . Awesome drinks, great food and hundreds of people sharing the same interest made the perfect evening.

The stars of the event were of course the watches. I tried on several, and I have to say that AP made the biggest impression on me. Quality throughout!

Here are some pictures I took during the event. Sadly, I think photobucket downscales the images but I hope they're good enough

I'm not a big fan of Ulysse Nardin, but I have to say, the Freak Diavolo and Blue Phantom are very nice. My friend was weak for the Executive Dual Time but it was not for me.

Not too many Panerais present, and only snapped one photograph of them.

I think IWC had most watches present. I love the Perpetual Calendar:

Breguet also had a big booth with everything you could wish for

Really liked these Jaeger LeCoultres

Two Vacherons

And last but not least, the Audemars Piguet booth. Everything was there, Grande Complications, Perpetual Calendars, Tourbillons, Equation of Times and the RO and ROO of course.

Loved it

The ROO in yellow gold was heavy as hell and just superb

Complicated watches. The Jules Audemars Jumping Hour (I think a minute repeater?), a Grande Complication Minute Repeater and Split Seconds Chronograph and a Perpetual Calendar (I think).

Met up with Thomas (TSW) who was sporting his beautiful Vulcano while I tried on a Royal Oak in yellow gold

Loved it! Felt perfect A 15300 is definitely on my wish list.

The Jules with moonphase

Hope you enjoyed! There were hundreds of other watches as well but I was so distracted I forgot to take up the phone. Saw all the new Rolex models together for the first time!

Thanks to all involved!!

Carl thanks for taking these pictures and sharing them with us. That must have been an incredible event to attend. Some real nice watches indeed.

Thanks for sharing Carl. Seems like I missed something good here in Stockholm. :)

You can't go wrong with a 15300.

Will do Thomas! Will check out my schedule for next week tomorrow!

They really are, but I'd probably put my money elsewhere!

Thanks Mike, the Jumping Hour was something else. If you like the "jumping" idea.. Have you checked out the Lange Zeitwerk? If not, search for it!

Here's probably my next acquisition:

The AP 15300 with white dial. Tries it on at the best AD in Sweden (safe to say!)

Ouch. Too much eye candy. I'm trying to stay focused on the Zeitwerk (on order) and a RM10. Although the JLC Duometre Chronograph is calling me - LOUDLY.
