Luminox never took off until they began to get interest from the military. Not the Army, mind you, it was soldiers that started buying when they weren't pleased with what was offered at the px.

Then, Luminox expanded their line with more mainstream looking product that still retained the lume that made earlier stuff appealing.

Personally, I find Traser Watches, which employ the same lume technology with a more appealing product line.

They offer what some of us wanted from Luminox, a watch with a "military" look and an automatic movement. Their prices are also very reasonable.
