My AP has stpped working? HELP.
hi guys, need some advise, i bought a ap royal oak from a friend a few months ago, all was fine up until now. the movement stops running every 15 seconds or so. i thought it may be the power reserve but i wount it for a bit, but still the same problem. has anyone else come accross this problem before as im not sure what to do next. thanks guys

im not sure if it is or not, it is a e series if that means anything? as you can tell im new to ap but loving every minute of it until now thanks mate

Get it in to Hannover Square.
Be prepared for a little shock when the estimate comes through. My friend's AP RO Chrono cost was estimated at £932 for a service including a few "low cost" parts. He did smooth talk them down to £850 though and the watch came back in pristine order with a guarantee, I think 2 years.

E- Series was sold thru 91-97 if i remember correctly.
Could be time for a service if you don't know the service history on it.

Your Avatar states you are London based? Try Official Watches in north London, you can google them. They have a watchmaker onsite who is Rolex and AP trained. I have used him with my AP's in the past and he is very good. Best of luck.
