GMT c or GMT c tt

I have had my GMT c since they have out in 07. But just like everyone else on this website I am thinking about getting something else.

I am looking at the TT GMTc. i just can not decide if the gold is to much.

What do you guy think?

Also has there been any changes on the band since the 07 model GMTc?

thanks

No changes since its introduction. Have you tried the TT on?

Whether or not the gold accent is too much is up to you, but be aware that the resale value of TT GMTc's leaves a bit to be desired

If it were me, I'd save a bit more to splurge on a used 116718

I've never been a 'gold' type of guy. But the tt (for me) was just enough bling. I think they are beautiful watches.

James the 116713 is a great piece! I say if you are going to venture into gold this will be a great piece to start with, not too in your face and a very classy piece. I probably would go the preowned route now. As techie stated resale will hurt if you were planning on buying new and wanting to sell later... My how times have changed, I remember just a little over a year ago I got my 116710 from DavidSW preowned for $5300, then got my 116713 brand new from him for $7,700.

I have that too, I got that one from Oscar (bodybump) James was asking about the 116710 and 116713 so I left my 116718 out of the equation

Genaro I have never been an enabler, more of a congratulator, however, here you go... A quick pic in Gotham city. Sorry James

I think TT is a perfect balance between SS and Gold. I myself have sub TT.

All three of the GMTc's are stunners IMO!
The best bang for your buck in the Rolex line......I've got the SS and the TT, and both are a go to watch for any occasion in my wearing habits.
You can't go wrong with either.

Do you mind puting up a pic of them side by side...I have the SS but I'm thinking of upgrading. Thanks.

I'd love to Tom. Unfortunately, I don't have a side by side to post, and it's now to dark to take some good ones.
I'll try to take a few for you tomorrow however!

TT or ss is total your choice but I do echo the comment regarding tt resale value. So it depends if this is a keeper or one to flip down the road

All three versions of the GMT are beautiful... I have had all three at some point, but now I only have the YG and TT. Both my favorite...

You have to remember that gold does have a glow about it which is quite noticable. However, the SS GMT C also has a blingy feel to it with it's PCL...

Regards, to the resale of TT... well yes they do depreciate a lot... perhaps you should look into getting a second hand one that has already depreciated and that way if you should want to trade or sell your TT GMT you will not lose to much money!

Here are a few of mine...

Those are excellent pics boss! Wish you would snap pics more often as you have quite an exquisite collection! Looking good there too Kevin (I recall your thread from awhile ago deciding if you should get the Daytona or GMT) how is your Daytona holding up?

Tough to say, I have both the SS and the TT. I really like the gold on the TT and it works for me where a 16613LB didn't.

However, I'd say the SS is more versitile. The SS is a little more low key and easier to match with whatever one is wearing, while the pcl still adds a touch of bling.

You know how popular TT subs are 'round these parts. IMO, the TT GMT is a much more handsome watch, and more useful for the money. Being an Aggie, you'll appreciate this shot - and beat the hell outta t.u.!

Jump on it. The TT GMT IIC will be my next and last Rolex purchase (hopefully). Enjoy.

Have both and like both but the TT is just about my personal favorite.

Much of it depends on what else you wear.

I think the TT is a stunning watch. Bling, yes, but very nice.
