Like many people said, it is not the size it is the amount you put in. Yets say at the end of the day you throw in the change you have in your pocket and it comes out to $1 in coins. If you do that every single day it will take you over 20 years to buy a $7,500 Rolex.

I did the same with a big cider flaggon (empty of course) and put all my loose change below a £1 coin - so 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p,20p and 50p for a period of a few years.
When it was full, I bet my 15 year old nephew that if he would take it to the bank (as clearly I couldn't be bothered) and could guess within £50 either way (so a £100 margin) of the amount, he could keep it all. It came to £467 and he had bet £425 and so kept it. Now clearly I needed a bank receipt as evidence but the more I think about it, as he's a smart little cookie, he probably asked for two receipts As I would have Either way, not enough for a Rolex...... so without notes or your equivalent of a £1 coin, I doubt it.... |

better to save in two places, put all coins there, and bills where interest is available
