Watch tracing

I purchased a GMTIIc in San Juan about 3 years ago. The sales men at the AD told me that at the time that GMT IIc was hard to get from Rolex. I was wondering if I had the serial number for this watch, can some place on the internet tell me where this watch came from and tell me all the detail about this watch?

If you post a picture of the watch I'll be able to tell you exactly what it looks like.

They all come from one place the Rolex factory Switzerland, and the only thing a serial will tell you by some Internet code, is a approximation of the year when the case was stamped nothing more.

The answer to this question is "No". Think about it - if there was such a place, would you like knowing that YOUR information was out 'there' as the owner of said watch? I think not...
