All this was entirely unnecessary and could have been avoided.

It does amount to a repudiation of ones entitlement to participation as a member of this community.

Your last post Rolex Junky is not an apology but a denial. "I did not intend..." and "I am astonished by some of the responses..." are clear indicators of where you actually stand....and it is not in a place of meaningful apology. In fact your words signal a continued self righteous position.
