How many turns does it take?

Hi guys, my wife purchased for my birthday a Milgauss GV (thanks DavidSW!) and I just put it on for the first time. Very exciting, but the question is, how many winds does your watch take before the seconds hand begins to sweep? On my other watches the seconds begin to move after a few winds, but with this watch it starts to sweep at about the 40th wind. Just wanted to make sure everything is kosher. Thanks!

I usually shake my watch and then wind the crown 40-50 turns to make sure the mainspring is wound. After that, ENJOY!!!

It's not an electric switch, it's just winding the mainspring..

A lot of stuff needs to line up and be in the right position before the hairsprings begins to swing and move the seconds hand... it's normal...

X2

The number varies before thee second hand moves, just depends as Tools said above. No shaking required. 40 turns for a full wind.

Wind it 40 full turns, then wear. Should be fine.

I wind about ten turns, and then shake. Then another 25 turns. Just done it twice, since I first got the watch (DJ) some months ago. :))

It´s amazing how well it keeps the time, and power reserve.
