I take my watches off to shower, my wrists need to be pristine for my watches.

No don't do it it will ruin it!
Hey it can take 10bars (100m or 300ft) last time I checked the water pressure coming from your shower head is no where near, as it would make wounds on your skin if it did. SHOWER with it if you feel like it.

There is no way a normal shower will damage your Rolex with water pressure.
I wear my watch to the gym and I'll wash it off with warm soapy water in the sink because I don't want to risk dropping it in shower. Sometimes I wear it in the shower, sometimes I don't. |

Always shower with the watch, as early as 1980 with my Seiko Diver's 150m. Never a problem.

I shower...That's how I keep it clean. No gunk on my watches! Also if you have "soap scum" your using the wrong soap! DON'T use regular hand soap!!!
