Honeymoon suggestions in Caribbean??

Hey guys! Just wanting some input on Caribbean resorts to go to for our honeymoon (aug 26-sep 2). I've looked up cap maison on st. lucia, frenchmans cove and one other on st. thomas. You guys NEED to see this as well, a little pricey but totally private(www.petitstvincent.com).

Just a little concerned about weather conditions, what to expect... Thanks again for the input guys! Cheers!

Can't say for sure, but that time of year can be quite unstable weather wise.

I'm currently on Grand Cayman on honeymoon! If you like serenity, quietness, and not much to distract I can recommend this place.

Been here for about a week now, and the weather is a bit windy, but sunny and warm!

On storms, expect the unexpected. Hurricane Season is unpredictable. It may sound crazy but have a Plan B in your back pocket. September is the most active hurricane month in the Carribean.

On weather in general, it will be hot as hades in-between tropical storms.

And here is where they tend to go overall -

Agreed, that time of year can be a crapshoot. If you want to stay in that region, Aruba is your best bet in terms of storms. It's out of the path. It's not the most picturesque island, but the weather is almost 100% guaranteed perfect & lots of good restaurants & hotels.

If you want to take the chance, I'm a big fan of the Hotel Gansevoort in the Turks & Caicos if you're looking for a very laid back & relaxing stay.

If you want something different...and very un-touched...check out Dominica. It's my favorite Caribbean island...although I've only been there while cruising.

Eden Rock on St. Barths is unbelievable. I highly recommend it. Though I would have a back-up plan since that is the heart of Hurrican season.

Hurrican season for sure, while the odds are low that you would be effected, why take the chance

Can't beat Maui, one of the great places in the world. I was in Turks and Caicos once and that was very hard to beat

Enjoy either way

My wife & I spent 14 days in Aruba for our honeymoon. Loved it! Perfect weather every day.
