A true testament to one's legacy is the impression they left in life. People like JJ are few and far between, but his legacy is immortalized here on TRF.

JJ's sister Nina rang me last week from New Zealand. She is visiting the family in Auckland until March next year. Nina has also had issues with cancer but she is optomistic that this was found early and she will be fine.
As some will know my wife and I went over for JJ's daughter's wedding earlier this year and I have just sent over all the pix and videos I took at the wedding.
I am sure Nina will enjoy these as due to her illness she was unable to travel to NZ for the wedding.
Nina and I had a long chat about JJ. We both miss him very much.
As we all do.
Nina asked me to thank you all for the support you gave JJ and his family and wished us all a healthy and happy new year.

Eddie I didn't get to speak to Nina either in email on Skype but from the tales I heard from JJ himself and Joe, she sounded like quite a lady. If you get a chance over Christmas to speak to Zemina, Nina or either of JJ's girls, please pass on the best wishes and thoughts of Claire and I.

Jim

PS Merry Christmas to the family and you Eddie!

We lost my Mother-In-Law 23 months ago to breast cancer which spread to the liver. So the holiday season is a time for remembrance and reflection. It' been very hard on my wife's family but we must all move forward and continue our lives. I extend warm wishes from my family to Zemina and her family during these trying times and Christmas Holiday!!!

Thank you Eddie. Is there a way for them to receive all these wishes? Would you mind forwarding them or asking them to read them here?

Saludos!

JJ was the main reason I joined this forum. I kept visiting as a guest and would always look for his posts, so I finally joined and the rest is history. All the best to JJ's family...
