We Bought a Zoo

No, not me, but I know you would expect it :)

The movie was great, but did address some sad topics. Overall, I would recommend it for a fairly lighthearted movie.

Has anyone here seen "War Horse" yet? It looks great on the trailers.

"I went on down to the Audubon Zoo and they aks for you. They all aks for you. Well, they even inquired about you!"

I didn't see the movie, but I thought you might like the song.

Thanks Grady! It is actually pronounced "axed" for you. Hehehehehe, I spent a whole day there and at the Aquarium over Thanksgiving and they axed you to come down too and spend some time in "The City" for Mardi Gras!!!!

I'm a native Louisianan and I lived in New Orleans for 22 years, graduating from UNO and Tulane.

The New Orleans culture, once it takes hold, is with you forever.

I miss the good aspects and feel lucky to have survived the bad.

I just bought a batch of Johnny Adams' CDs to help remind me of the good.

Warhorse

I found it hard to watch. I'm not a PETA member by any means but found it to be kind of a heart wrenching story, along the same lines as Old Yeller.

I heard it was a really good movie but hard to watch. Not sure if I want to go see it or not.

Okay, spoil it for me.....did the damn horse die or not? Or did he go home with the kid. I know the movies are always different from the book. PM me if you don't want to spoil it for everyone.

I don't want to watch a movie during the holidays with a bad ending!!!

Thanks!!!
