Is it true, for the 14060M newer random serial number series and COSC model had a very short production run and is not in production?

i seen that ad as well. 14060M is still in production and in fact is on rolexes website.

either way

random serial # is no big deal. ALL kinds of COSC and non COSC 14060Ms out there.

The implication on the ad was that it was a 'collectors' piece. hogwash. PLUS the asking price is more than what it can be bought for new at some AD's locally if you look around

Actually I had called around some AD's here in TO and I was quoted $6320 for a new Submariner. Some local Ad's don't even have them in stock.
