DateJust Purchase: SS or 2-Tone? Advice Please!

Which one is of the better value, a 16030 or 16013? I can't decide. The prices seem to almost overlap between the two.

should be more about look than value TT is pretty classic look on a Datejust but if you don't wear/like gold that doesn't really matter

Depends on what you're looking for. If you like gold, get the two tone. If you prefer an all stainless look, get the stainless.

Costs on these two models are probably negligible. You'll get more value out of liking what your wearing and looking at on a daily basis.

As stated, get the one you like the most regardless of whether it has gold or not. You are the one buying and wearing the watch so you need to be happy and content with your choice....happy hunting!!!

On the 16013, I don't like the Jubilee bracelet. I was never a fan. I like the Oyster bracelet on the 16030. But, I really like the gold dial and bezel from the 16013.

Both? Mix and match and make a hybrid? I wonder what the combo would look like.

Never a fan of the hybrid of TT head on SS bracelet. Some have done it because the Jubilee wore out or they didn't like the Jubilee.

I don't know if you can find a TT Oyster that would work for this watch, but I know there was a user who did this with a TT GMT and swapped out a TT Jubilee for a TT Oyster bracelet.

I prefer the TT but I think you must like the look of YG to wear it and enjoy it, otherwise the SS DJ is also a very nice looking watch!

May I ask why he wouldn't be able to find a TT Oyster bracelet for his DJ? The model does exist doesn't it? Wouldn't he be able to have it changed?

Carl, I was attemting to make a recomendation as to what he might consider doing. However I wasn't sure it could be done.

I may have not written it very clearly.

However focus Carl, focus.
