Explorer II replacement hands
Hello folks, I've done a bit of searching but I'm not sure if this has been covered before...I have a black face Explorer II that I have owned for around nine years now; I love it and have no plans on parting with it, in my opinion it is one of the most rugged and understated Oysters available. Long before the new 42mm came out I thought about retrofitting my watch with an orange hand because I love the original Exp II but quite honestly can't afford one. Sorry if that was a bit long winded, but I would be interested in some opinions. I'm not sure if I would be able to get factory hands (or if they would fit), but there are aftermarket hands available.

I'm hoping others will weigh in here as well. I've been in a "watch dilemma" lately and the big reason I'm leaning towards a 216570 instead of the 16570 is the orange hand - I love it.
I would find a used outgoing model if adding an orange hand was possible and not too much money... |
