seller replied with this.. Anyone bought a watch from him before?

Hi Andrew,

I'm sorry for my delayed response- usually any questions get sent immediately to my eBay mobile app. Looks like the three messages you sent just arrived together.

I wish I knew more about the history of the watch. I purchased it from its second owner who wore it daily. I don't have the box or any papers, unfortunately. If needed, I can take it to my watchmaker and at least have him open the back to check for any possible service dates.

I forgot to include this in the auction description, but the reference and serial numbers are clearly visible between the lugs, so there won't be any issues sending it in to Rolex for service.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks!

-Mike

I'm not a Tudor expert - but, the pic looks like a stock pic. I would pass without additional pics - one set to a time and date of your choice.

At least you will know if he really has the watch.

Good luck!

Hi guys, it's been a while since I've been on TRF. That's my auction up there. I purchased the watch for my girlfriend as a companion watch to my 76100 sub. I ended up keeping the watch when we broke up.

I meant to set the auction up as an "up 'till sold" type. I'll be re-listing it Immediately after it ends in a few hours. I've never opened the case, but after dealing with a fewTudors it was clear to me to be genuine. I'll take it over to my watchmaker to open up the caseback and check for any possible service dates.

Here are a few shots of it with my 9411/0 Snowflake to give a sense of scale.

Also, the pictures on the white background were taken by me. I used some white wrapping paper as the background:

Here's my 9411/0 and 79280 on the same wooden disc:

I know this is late, but as an owner of a blue mini-sub it looks good to me!

Also, mini-sub was never marketed as a 'ladies' sub but as a boys or for a man with a smaller wrist.
This was before we wore kitchen clocks on our wrists.
Tudor also made a 'ladies sub ' that was a bit smaller than the mini-sub... 26mm.

Does your mini sub get much wrist time ?

Zero.
I wore it for a year before deciding it was a little small for me and I got my full-size sub which I wear all the time. I don't think the drawer is good for it as it was keeping 7 sec a day and now 60 seconds... wonder if I magnetized it?
