I do think you can find other models with interrupted or cut-off numerals.

#1 - I think it does make the watch look nice and symmetrical with the two I's on either side of the day window. I had just never appreciated that they took so much artistic liberty with the 11 before.

#2 - Which models? I'd love to look at some examples prior to the Sky Dweller of this.
