Please help identify this watch
I believe it is a 1937 Oyster Manual-Wind Precision. If any-one knows a rough price guide as well. Cheers

Model 3059 ,just google "Rolex 3059" and you`ll have an answer in no time.
It`s called the "Prince Elegant Curvex" Ref. No. 3059 from 1937-1938 Estimated value of $9,000-$13,000 in red gold, approx 1/3 less for a yellow gold version(my estimate according to Antiquorum auction listing) the value of yours depends on condition of course. For a proper valuation you need advice from a vintage Rolex expert because of the rarity of this model. According to the Serial No. of 36300 yours may be a 1935-1936 model, I`m going by Serial No. dating charts which are not 100% reliable. |

You've got a very nice vintage piece there. These vintage Rolex watches were made primarily for doctors, because of the clear and large seconds hand which doctors needed to use when operating on patients.
The Price range above seems somewhat accurate to me, just not sure if its a third less for YG. |
