16800 Sub Questions
Hey guys, Happy Friday
 I see some 16800's with white gold surrounds the hour markers and some without. What's up with that  Thanks in advance

16800's are considered transitional. Early pieces had matte dials and later ones gloss dials. All, however, were fitted with saphire crystals and as such are typically not entirely embraced by the vintage community.

Ok, great. So, the gloss dials have the wg surrounds I assume
I would think matt dials carry more value, the look less modern

There are transitional 16800 models with wg surrounds and a Matt dial.
