Sub-C ND Price Predicted...

Sub C Date in EUR costs 6200
Sub C Date in US costs $8000
Sub C ND in EUR costs 5930 EUR

Thus, I predict that 5930 * (8000/6200) = around 7700 USD ball park when it is released.

A $300-$500 MSRP difference between a 116610 and 114060 seems logical. Rolexes are getting pricey. Glad I have my 116610LV!

7500-7700 US is probably a good guess.

Also, you never know if the Sub-C Date will stay at 8k when the ND comes out, it could somehow jump to 8.2k retail leaving more room of decision and price between the 2 models.

In the USA, the list price for 14060 is US$6300.
US$1400. more for ceramic bezel, newer movt. guts, advanced bracelet & clasp.......& then Rolex gets cheap & eliminates lug holes
For US$1400. more I want the lug holes.

You are paying a lot for the block case, maxi dail and hand, ceramic insert and the bracelet and clasp, the "new" movement is already in the last batches of 14060's.

Dan, my prescription for you........just take 3 of these old school relics & call me in the morning (p.s. acquired these 3 preowned for waaaayyyy less than
1 new sub, still had bread left over to get 'em all serviced)

You know, the more I think about it, the more it just aint worth it........................to me anyways. If the new Sub IS $7700, I'm done with Rolex. I have had so many Rolex watches at this point, I just can't see paying the prices they are getting to now. It has nothing to do with being able to afford the new prices either. I'm just not feeling the value for the money anymore. I'm sure I can pick one up from DavidSW or JustRolexes at a decent price 9 months from now, but on principal, I can't justify buying anything new anymore.

Ok, I am done with my rant.

The currency converters seem to over-estimate the price of new Rolex watches, probably because of the VAT added to luxury goods across the pond.

My personal guess is $7450, if there isn't a price increase in May. It'd be cool if there wasn't a price increase in 2012 at all.

As of 3/8, my AD didn't know what the price would be.
